Creating your first screener

After you sign up to Screenable, the system will create a sample screener for you, with some sample tracking data. Going over that screener and its data is a good way to learn how the system works.

When you feel ready to add your own screener, you can:

• Connect your Vimeo account and import your screener form Vimeo. That saves you the need to upload your screener to Screenable. Connecting to Vimeo is actually giving us access to your Vimeo account, but don’t worry, we can’t delete your videos or watch any of your other videos. And you can revoke our access at any time (just remember the screener will not work anymore on Screenable if you disconnect you Vimeo account from Screenable).
• Upload your screener directly to Screenable, just like you would to any video platform.

<aside> 💡 When importing a screener from Vimeo, it’s important NOT to password-protect it, otherwise Screenable will not be able to play the video. We recommend making your screener unlisted or hidden.
