Import your screener from Vimeo

If you have your screener already on Vimeo, you can import it to Screenable in one click

We all know the frustration of uploading the same large files to every different platform, festival, or pitching event.

And since most film professionals already use Vimeo, we wanted to eliminate that repetitive step.

Therefore, we created the Connect to Vimeo feature, which allows you to import your screener from your Vimeo account to your Screenable account.

On your Screenable account, click on Settings - the cog wheel on the bottom left.
Click on Vimeo Configuration.
Click on Connect to Vimeo - you will be taken to a login page, where you enter your Vimeo credentials.
Add a screener - add a screener regularly and in the upload options, choose Vimeo.

Screenable is not exposed to your Vimeo credentials at any stage. It’s the same principle as using Login with Google, with which you’re probably familiar from other platforms.
Password protected videos can not be imported to Screenable. We recommend on changing their Privacy to ‘Hidden’.
You can disconnect from Vimeo at any time, in the same screen (Vimeo Configuration). However, your screener will become offline.
If you have many videos in your Vimeo account and you don’t see your screener right away, use the “search” inside Screenable, in the section dedicated to importing from Vimeo.
